Why we listed it

An optical smoke alarm with a sealed battery described as lasting up to 10 years. FireAngel publishes an EU declaration of performance for the FA6620 family against EN 14604:2005+AC:2008.

Before you buy in Ireland

This is an optical smoke alarm certified against EN 14604, not a carbon monoxide or fuel-gas detector.
Its battery is sealed; the retailer describes up to 10 years of battery life. Follow the installation and replacement instructions, and consider a heat alarm rather than a smoke alarm for a kitchen.
